Over 60% of Mozambique’s 25.8 million people live in coastal areas, placing significant pressures
on the marine environment and its resources, with many species vulnerable to illegal poaching and
exploitation. We continuously strive to work with our local communities to educate and excite
them about saving and protecting their valuable marine resources around Inhambane.
